Events

Alice Springs is renowned for the events it hosts every year - the hilarious Camel Cup and Henley-on-Todd Regatta, the Finke Desert Race – a three day dirt bike and motor racing event, or for the culture vultures, there is the Alice Springs Desert Festival with its choir singing extravaganza in the riverbed, wearable arts and all manner of music and theatre. The Masters Games is held in Alice every two years, with the next event in 2010. Alice Springs is an immensely creative community and many unique events are born out of this. There is a folk festival at Glen Helen Gorge, the Bangtail Muster, the Alice Springs Show, and several rodeos are held in the region each year. View the Alice Springs events calendar.
